Sony Xperia Z3 Camera Problems

Sony Xperia Z3 has the best-in-class 20.7MP camera with Sony's Exmor RS™ for mobile sensor and the first ISO 12800 in a smartphone. The large 1/2.3” Exmor RS™ for mobile image sensor ensures smooth, clear capturing with true-to-life details.

The images below are some of the advertised on Sony's official site.

The phone even with such capabilities it has some problems. Some users have reported an issue with their brand-new Xperia Z3 cameras having a big pink-ish blob in the middle, most often when they try to take a picture indoors. The problem is being discussed on Sony's official boards, as well as on Reddit and XDA Developers' forums.

Sony has advised users Xperia Z3 and Xperia Z3 Compact adjust the white balance in the camera settings to get rid of the appearance of pink spots. This action actually fixes the problem, but the image will not correct color rendition. Return to factory settings does not solve the problem.
